So it was a birthday party yesterday and a great one at that but even great birthday party's can have evil lurking in the corners. The mahoney's did all they could in their power to get rid of this evil but sometimes evil persists and in this case we were forced to fight this evil through out the party (in all fairness I did arrive late so my brothers in arms were forced to fight this evil alone, and they did an admirable job) The evil was a giant deflating hamster ball. My friends the Mahoney's rented a giant ball to roll down a hill in, and let me tell you this is a pure and good activity so try it out friends. However evil snuck in as it will and the giant ball had a hole in it so the air would not stay in. After every second roll down the hill we would have to pump up the giant ball by hand. Do not misunderstand me, it was worth it as rolling down the hill was awesome but still it was pure evil that we had to pump it up as it took away from our rolling down the hill time. We did not dispair though and we continued to fight the good fight and in the end it was a good time. Some interesting notes on other ways evil snuck into the party. One note of interest is that evil pulled down my pants. Yes evil fought back in a very dirty and underhanded way. As I was climbing into the giant ball to roll down the hill my pants got stuck on the side of the ball and I went in with them around my ankles. The second way evil fought back is while I was rolling down the hill the strap that was holding my leg down broke. While this was a minor inconvenience it still is worth noting that evil will fight back whenever possible. The final lesson I learned in this battle with evil is how even though it may be a all day battle when fighting evil it is still worth it to have good and glorious fun. I will post a picture of us fighting evil later but for now this is what it looked like.
Sounds fun. I need you to think of something fun for a retirement party for Dad.
